Dr. Shidler hails from Grand Junction, Colorado, but has called Texas home for several years. She attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine for her DDS degree and received her Pediatric Dental Certificate from Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Shidler served in the United States Air Force and completed a one-year residency in advanced general dentistry at Scott Air Force Base. She then served three years in Spangdahlem, Germany where she focused her efforts towards treating military kiddos. She and her husband, Sam, loved their time in Germany and were able to travel to over 20 countries while overseas!

Dr. Shidler moved to the Dallas area in 2019, following her Texas sweetheart. They adopted a 90-pound fur baby, Woodford, and recently welcomed their son, Cooper, to the family this past October.

Dr. Shidler is excited to be at Just for Kids Dentistry and working alongside Dr. Jeff!
